Ms. Paula has been an educator for many years but is now working behind the scenes to make sure the staff at Otter Cove Early Learning have the tools they need to give the best possible care to the children in their care.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends, travel, tend to her native gardens, ride her motorcycle, and love on Boo and Scout.

I spend most of my time overseeing the operations and curriculum at Otter Cove Early Learning, but my real "why" is creating a space where every child feels seen, safe, and excited to explore the world. I believe that the foundation we build in these early years stays with a child for a lifetime, and I take that responsibility to heart.

I’m a big believer in collaborative leadership and open-door communication. Whether I’m mentoring a teacher through a tricky classroom dynamic or helping a parent navigate a new milestone, I aim to bring a mix of calm problem-solving and genuine empathy to the table every day.

When I’m not at the center, you can usually find me on the sidelines of my children’s sporting events cheering them on, or tucked away in a quiet corner with a great book. I’m a firm believer that a well-spent weekend involves a mix of high-energy family time and a really good story.

I have been married for 38 yrs. I have 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I love to do home projects, cleaning, gardening, hiking, and the beach. But mostly I love my job and the families I get to know  I   have been an educator for over 35 years. I have my CDA and Advanced Director credentials.

I am a one year old teacher with a degree in early childhood education. I have been teaching for the last 11 years and believe in shaping young minds each day.

My name is Erica. I am a dedicated preschool teacher with a bachelor’s degree in education and certified to teach VPK. I have been an educator since 2014. I believe children learn through experiences. Let’s make waves of learning together!

I am a proud parent of three wonderful children. During my leisure time, I find joy in reading, painting, and pottery. Having resided in Edgewater my entire life, I am passionate about contributing to the creation of a community where others can also thrive.

I’m a mother of 3 and have been a preschool teacher for 15+ years. I believe all children deserve a fun, nurturing environment to come to every day and learn and I strive to make sure my classroom provides that.  Teachers who love teaching, Teach kids to love learning

Cook/Bus Driver/ Teacher

I am a dedicated member of the school team, supporting student nutrition, and  transportation. In the kitchen, I help ensure meals are prepared and served with care, keeping students fueled and ready to learn. As a bus driver, I prioritize safety and reliability, making sure each child arrives to and from school safely. I also step in where needed, assisting staff and students to help the school run smoothly. I take pride in being a dependable and positive presence in students’ daily routines.

 I'm currently pursuing my education degree and have a passion for helping children learn and grow in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. I also love teaching kids sign language to help build communication skills and confidence from an early age

 I have going on six years of experience and have a passion for my School  Age kiddos! I love new adventures, Disney, and learning new fun facts.

With over 35 years of experience in childcare, I’ve been dedicated to supporting families and children since the late 1980s. I hold my Director’s credentials and CDA, and I’m currently furthering my education by pursuing an A.S. Degree. I truly believe that "we may not have everything, but together we have it all," and I bring that collaborative spirit to the team every day. When I’m not working, you can usually find me enjoying a cup of coffee, snacking on pecans, or finding a great deal at the Dollar Tree!
